About Us

It's origins were small, but over the years Porthcawl Jazz Festival has grown from one day to a 3 day event and developed into one of the most popular festivals in this part of the world.

With artists such as Cleo Laine, John Dankworth, Jacqui Dankworth, Stan Tracey, Humphrey Lyttleton, Chris Barber and the BBC Big Band, together with a number of excellent local jazz bands, the festival has become firmly established as one of the major events in South Wales.

The festival is organised and run by a commitee of five who are dedicated to promoting good jazz.
