Acker Bilk Over the years varies his recording; Jazz with his Paramount Jazz Band; romantic melodies with string orchestras; and guesting with other prominent Jazz and rock musicians such as the late Humphrey Lyttelton, Van Morrison, Dutch Swing College Band, Papa Bue. Acker's current Paramount Jazz Band are Ian Bateman, Richie Bryant, John Day, Enrico Tomasso and Colin Wood.

Andreas Oberg was born in Stockholm Sweden and is a graduate of the Royal Music Academy in Stockholm. Andreas has quickly become one the fastest-rising guitar sensations in the world, recording and touring throughout the US, Europe, Sweden and Asia. He is one of the famed “Benedetto Players and his most recent CD is “My Favorite Guitars” released by Resonance Records.

Clare Teal Clare Teal hails from a tiny village near Skipton in Yorkshire, and was born 35 years ago. A student of the organ, piano and clarinet, she went on to study music at the University of Wolverhampton. In January 2008 Clare presented a series on Radio 2 profiling 1930s singer Al Bowlly and, if further evidence of her multi-faceted talents were needed. Clare is embracing her first love - jazz - and in February 2008 released a brand new album "Get Happy".

Michael Janisch is a prominent newcomer on the international jazz scene, whose talents as both a freelance bassist and bandleader have been described as dynamic, driven, and enthusiastic. A native of the United States currently living in London, he is a relentless performer, whose musician ship and virtuosity on his instruments have made him one of the most in-demand young musicians in the UK and beyond. Described as “always hip, melodic, and bouncy” by The Times of London, Janisch is “a muscular, fluent player with an irresistible pulse and virtuosic soloing technique,” (Jazz Wise). The Guardian has dubbed him “one of the UK's most exciting new improvisers.”.

Janice Mitchell and Jim Beishline

Janice Mitchell , draws upon gospel roots to deliver jazz standards, R&B, & blues vocals in her soulfully unique fashion. Janice's extensive musical background includes five world tours as a backup singer for Ray Charles. She has also performed live as a backup vocalist for Stevie Wonder, Fabian, Yvonne Elliman, and numerous others. She performs regularly with The Jim Beishline Trio and also as a duo with Jim on piano.

Jim Beishline, has become one of Western New York's most recognized pianists by performing with high profile musicians in the Buffalo area and throughout the U.S. for over 20 years. His extensive repertoire of popular music and jazz from the 1920's through the 1990's make his performances exciting and enjoyable, whether he is performing solo, or with a trio. Buffalo Music Awards 2000 honored Janice with Jim's trio, bestowing upon them the title of 'Buffalo's Best Jazz Small Band'

The Graham Watkins Quartet with Clare Hingott

Graham Watkins Jazz Quartet and the fabulous Clare Hingott serenade the evening with a great programme which will include songs made famous by Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington and Van Morrison plus many, many more.

Five Go Swing.......... The Dave Jones Trio

5 Go Swing - draw their inspiration from the beauty and passion of Gypsy Jazz. Formed in Cardiff in 2004, they have quickly left their mark on the local jazz scene, thrilling audiences with an irresistible mix of beautiful melodies combined with compelling dynamic and rhythmic variety. 5 Go Swing have been a quartet since 2009. These musicians play with a zest and intensity that expresses the passion and romance of the Gypsy tradition.

The Dave Jones Trio - The current incarnation of the Dave Jones Trio formed a year or so ago, following Dave's return to South Wales after two decades of working as a pianist in East Anglia, London and the South East of England. He has performed at many festivals including the Wales Millennium Centre, Edinburgh, Brighton, and Brecon Jazz.

Esinti Esinti’s style is based on the gypsy swing jazz tradition made popular by guitarist Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. With some Latin rhythms and original tunes in the mix, Esinti's music is lively exciting, ambient, and appealing to people of all ages and walks of life.

The Dave Cottle Trio

The Dave Cottle Trio have built an excellent reputation as the house trio at Swansea Jazzland, the jazz club in Swansea which brings most of the best of jazz performers to Wales on a weekly basis. Dave Cottle (piano), Alun Vaughan (bass) and Paul Smith (drums) have accompanied most of the top UK jazz musicians.

The Dave Newton Trio

The Dave Newton Trio - Dave has performed with some of the most important figures in the jazz world such as Clark Terry, ‘Sweets’ Edison and Marshall Royal Sir John Dankworth, guitarist Martin Taylor and saxophonist Don Weller. Through the late 80s and early 90s his reputation as a pianist and writer spread while he worked on solo recordings. Dave likes nothing better than to perform, never more so than creating the special sound of his Trio – with Andy Cleyndert on double bass and Steve Brown on percussion.
Dave Newton has received the accolade of best jazz pianist in numerous awards and was made a Fellow of Leeds College of Music in 2003.

John Stark's Mainstreamers

John Stark's Mainstreamers - John's swinging quartet have played together for over 5 years. Their repertoire is wide enough to meet the most demanding tastes - from Blues, Swing, Latin and even Bop!
With musicians Jeff Meredith on Saxes/Trumpet, Alan Johnson on Guitar/Vocals, Eric Sullivan on Bass Guitar and John Stark on Drums/Vocals.

Tribute to Miles

Tribute to Miles - Any mention of the name "Miles" is sure to attract special attention. Miles Davis was, after all, primarily responsible for the album "Kind of Blue" - the biggest selling jazz album of all time."
The tribute today features a magnificent trumpet master from Canada, Johnny Crespo, ably supported by Jim Barber on piano, Tommy Harris on Saxes, Ashley John Long on Bass and Greg Evans on drums. The group recently performed to a full house audience at Cardiff's Cafe Jazz'.
