FRIDAY NIGHT IS 'PIANO MASTERS' NIGHT
Supported by popular local and national bands, as listed below, the weekend starts at 6:00pm Friday 11th April, 2008.
Friday Night is PIANO MASTERS NIGHT (details below).
The evening kicks off at 6:00pm with the Jim Barber Duo in the Cafe Bar.
The Graham Watkins Quartet follows.
The highly acclaimed and Welsh and London favourite, Geoff Eales Trio.
The Stan Tracey Quartet winds up a great evening for piano jazz fans.
Opening
on Friday 11th April at 6:00pm with The Piano Masters", we have a packed programme to please followers of jazz.
SATURDAY STARDUST
Saturday is the big day and ends with some of the greats of jazz in the UK.
At 11:00am we have a FREE entry Jazz Improvisation Workshop,
presented by Dick Hamer. All are welcome. Just bring along your instrument.
From 2.00pm Saturday afternoon starts off with the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Big Band. Other acts as listed below.
At 8:45pm The Big Chris Barber Band will close the day's events.
